Gothic makeup can be really hard to pull off during the day, but when done correctly can look really glam… this look was meant to be a beginners guide for those interested in gothing up their current makeup. I plan to do a more hardcore goth look soon!

I was lucky enough to stumble across an unusual mineral makeup website, called Painted Laydies!

Right away I got sucked into the page; the feel is feminine and has a lot of 1920’s influence. The black and white-wash logo features a gorgeous smiling 1920’s woman. As I browsed through I noticed the underlying quirky side of the cosmetics…finally a makeup line that honors classic, timeless beauty, but also praises the vixen.

I had the pleasure of trying tons of cosmetics from the line!

You will need:

Eyes: DASH minerals in Tropical Paradise, Butterscotch, Sandstone, Glitz
Lips: I used a generic lip color as a pink stain (you can choose any shade you like)
Face: DASH minerals in Ivory, Concealer in Fair, all over finish in Silk
Eyeliner: I used a normal eye kohl in black

Inspiration: I was going for a soft and feminine “doe-eyed” look.
